Anchor John Kessler will be the Emcee for Emmy® 2012. Kessler was the popular Co-Anchor for the KPIX CBS 5 Eyewitness News Early Edition with Sydnie Kohara for many years. Prior to that he reported and anchored at KRON, BayTV and TV20. John was inducted into the NATAS Silver Circle in 2008. He can currently be heard on the radio weeknights from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. on KGO 810 News/Information. If you know John you know that anything may happen!

KCBS/CBS5’s Mike Sugerman has written lyrics for the opening production number to be performed by Grammy nominated Désirée Goyette and Kessler. Award-winning Choreographer Bubba Gong will choreograph the Foothill Repertory Dance Company’s Cassandra Murray, Angela Herrera, Terin Kandarian, Jennifer Loomis, Peite Lim, Trey Miller and Nick Poole. You will want to be seated at your table in time for the opening number.

Production partner Beyond Pix is taking a bigger role in this year’s show by contributing original video segments and a new set designer.

Check out rates for the Hilton online, I saw some better prices for the Hilton on online websites.

The Hilton rate for 1 king bed is $199 under the group name. On their website it was $175, but it doesn't come with the "amenities" that you get with the group rate, whatever that might be.
