Calvin Thomas November 3, 1922 - September 20, 2008 Cal passed away peacefully on September 20, surrounded by his loving family. He and his wife of 60 years, Jerrie, were blessed with two daughters, Sandy Budde (Dave) and Terri Thomas (Fred Genter). He is also survived by five grandchildren, Jason Budde (Meridith), Ben Budde, Kristen Budde, Dan Genter and Cassie Genter, two great grandchildren Brooke Budde (5) and Anabelle Budde (1), his brother George Thomas (Patty) and his sister Nancy Thomas. He was predeceased by sister Patricia. Cal served proudly in the Army during WWII, building landing strips in France and Germany. He spent his 36 year career in management at KGO-TV in San Francisco, and was awarded the Emmy for Art Direction in 1955. Fascinated by life and by people, Cal enjoyed football, music, computers, painting, poetry, bridge, traveling and making movies.
