He talked about how the Open Media Video Coalition (OMVC) of which he was a founder conducting the testing that Lee was involved in and they support and adopt the chosen mobile broadcast standard and supply technical specs of the standards to manufacturers.       <description><![CDATA[<img src="http://www.emmysf.tv/hwdvideos/thumbs/tp-23.jpg" style="float:right;padding:10px;" width="120" height="90" />&#160;Lee MacPherson, Director of Engineering at KTVU (FOX)/Cox Stations gave a presentation about being involved with the first phases of testing of several mobile broadcast standards that are already being used in various countries, as a result of the tests, the Harris/LG/Samsung standard, used by South Korea, was chosen as the U.S. mobile broadcasting standard. KICU went on the air with its mobile signal in February 2010 and KTVU just rolled out theirs. The local ION channel also has a live mobile channel. We were receiving the Telemundo signal at the event too. Lee also talked about the use and potential of widgets and talked about a widget that has a non-realtime RSS feed, this capability is built into the standard.]]></description>
